This page sets out the Terms and Conditions for the sale and delivery of the paintings and prints produced by Nathaniel Gibbs. By purchasing artwork through this website, customers agree to the terms below.
The artwork sold on this website includes paintings and prints produced by Nathaniel Gibbs. ‘Paintings’ refer to artworks done in acrylics, charcoal and three dimensional shapes on canvas or another material. ‘Prints’ refer to photographic representations of the paintings that is printed on canvas or another material.
The product description in the ‘Shop’ describes the artwork for sale, stating whether the item is a Painting or Print. This description includes the size of the artwork. Most artwork is unframed unless otherwise stated.
We seek to represent all artwork accurately in the photographs posted on this website but customers should be aware that the colours of Painting or Prints may differ slightly from the images on this website. Please read the product description carefully to ensure that the desired artwork is purchased.
The price of the artwork shown in the ‘Shop’ includes tax but not delivery unless stated. Payment is accepted using most major bank cards through Paypal. Paypal is an independent secure payment processing website. Details of their service and payment protection can be read on their website. Customers can opt to use Paypal as a ‘Guest’ and do not need an account to use the payment service. Artwork and delivery must be paid for through Paypal before the item is dispatched.
We aim to process and dispatch all Paintings within 5 working days of order. Paintings will only be dispatched and delivered to the customer’s billing address. Artwork will be sent via next day Royal Mail Special Delivery with enhanced compensation, covering items up to a value of £2500. The item will need to be signed for by the customer at their address. While every effort will be made to carefully package and protect Paintings, Nathaniel Gibbs can accept no responsibility for the delay or damage to Paintings caused by Royal Mail’s delivery. Customers must claim from Royal Mail for delayed, missing or damaged artwork.
We aim to order Prints within 5 working days of purchase through this website. Prints will be dispatched directly from Photobox printers and sent by Tracked delivery. The item will need to be signed for by the customer at their address. While the printing firm has been chosen carefully and is provided with quality photographic images, Nathaniel Gibbs can accept no responsibility for the quality of Prints, delays or damage to Prints caused by the printing or delivery from this company. If customers are unhappy about the delivery or quality of Prints, they must contact Nathaniel Gibbs by email within 48 hours of receiving the Prints.
We only deliver artwork in the United Kingdom and our delivery charges are as follows:
Paintings – £30.00 per painting (Tracked and insured).
Prints – Free (Tracked).
Orders can be cancelled at any time until the Paintings are dispatched or the Prints are ordered from our printing firm. Orders must be cancelled in writing by emailing Nathaniel Gibbs.
A full refund will only be given if the order is cancelled in the manner described above and is done so before the Paintings are dispatched or the Prints are ordered from our printing firm. Refunds will be made through Paypal to the same card that the original purchase was made. This does not affect your statutory rights.
Complaints about the artwork or its delivery should be made in writing and emailed to Nathaniel Gibbs. This should state the problem and what action the customer would like to be taken to resolve the problem. Nathaniel Gibbs is committed to dealing with complaints constructively and fairly.
